Paul Atreides Hardcopy Master

This is the hardcopy tooling master for Paul Atreides from LJN's DUNE line. The figure is cast in heavy resin, and was the very first from the mold.

These "hardcopy masters" were kept within the production house in case any problems happened during the production process. The production house would cast the masters and send the original wax sculpts and molds back to LJN. Usually, a copy was retained on premises in case another cast was needed.

The detail far exceeds production pieces; crisp and clean. Cast in white resin this piece is entirely original.
